Yogurt Pre-Mix

Pre-Mix to Yogurt

With Fabas Yogurt Pre-Mix dairy producers can process beans like cow milk as the Yogurt Pre-Mix is used like cow milk in the traditional yogurt production.

The Yogurt Pre-Mix consists of a liquid component made of gently processed faba bean extract, oil and our selected plant-based starter culture.

 

Using Fabas Yogurt Pre-Mix leads to an acid-induced natural yogurt with the incredible properties:

 

  • high protein content (up to 6 g / 100 g) ​

  • no added starches, traditional fermentation

  • creamy, indulgent texture

  • neutral taste with mildly acid notes

Our propiertary process allows us
to functionalize pulses, so they can serve as a basis for amazing dairy alternatives.

The treatment starts by processing pulses into protein-rich flours, followed by a proprietary extraction process. We then combine the protein extracts with additional plant-based ingredients to create pre-mixes, that suit the needs of modern dairy producers.
